Luiz Roberto Saldanha, partner producer of the California Farm and now at the front of a fantastic new Project of Capricórinio Specialty Coffees, was at Lucca to promote cuppings for invited guests.
Capricórnio Coffees prospects producers, gives support to beneficiation processes, stores and commercializes coffees from the region near the Tropic of Capricorn. It's high latitude coffee. This is the great differentiating factor of the terroir.
The Capricórnio coffee belt includes two regions - Sorocaba and Northern Pioneer of Paraná – wich count with 20 cities in the state of São Paulo, 49 cities in the state of Paraná and thousands of farms dedicated to the cultivation of high quality coffee. The purchasing offices are located in the cities of Pirajá (SP) and Jacarezinho (PR).
A region blessed with fertile soils, crossed by the Tropic of Capricorn, is the southern limit of the world for the production of specialty coffees.
Unique origin that produces high quality Arabica coffees in subtropical climate with four well defined seasons. The maturation period of the cherries occurs with great thermal amplitude and low temperatures at night. The complexity in the coffee cup is the happy result of a combination of factors that allows coffee plants to express their maximum potential.
Our friend and former partner Luiz Roberto Saldanha Rodrigues from Capricórnio Coffees and also California Farm, from the Northern Pioneer of Paraná, was at Lucca presenting high latitude coffees.
