First Brazilian Coffee Roasting Championshipsetembro 30, 2017
As usual, Lucca promotes meetings between coffee connoisseurs and producers. This time it was Gabriel Nunes from Freitas Farm from the Cerrado Mineiro region who conducted a tasting with some of his special coffee microlots from the 2017/18 harvest. The guests sampled 6 samples of various profiles, varieties and post-harvest processes. According to Georgia and Camila, Lucca's tasters and coffee hunters, the samples are exceptional and will certainly be among the coffees of Largest Hunting of Brazilian Specialty Coffee Microlots!
These events are a great opportunity not only for connoisseurs to get to know the coffees they will make, deepen their knowledge in agricultural processes, harvesting, post harvesting, varieties and everything else that interferes with the palate of coffees, but also for producers to know and interact with the final consumer. Rare occasion for the producer who dedicates himself full-time to the activity, which is very far from consumption. The experience is very rich and sometimes the producer hears the impressions of customers more than he talks about his own coffee.
